In the very first year of its existence (1975), our
R&D came out with Malathion (technical), and since
then it has never looked back.
Their
untiring efforts were responsible for PCCPL to commission
its Oxalic Acid plant in the early 1980’s, and
by the time its capacity went up from 1 TPD to 50 TPD,
the R&D team had developed another product—Diethyl
Oxalate. Then followed Ethyl Oxalyl Chloride, Ethyl
Phenyl Glyoxalate and a herbicide—Metamitron,
a star product from our stables launched in the 1990’s.
Growing
in size, stature, manpower and experience, our R&D
department soon engaged themselves in the know-how and
technology related to development of newer molecules.
Until now, we have developed 53 new molecules in-house,
some of them for our overseas clients who wanted to
take advantage of the low development cost in India
without compromising the confidential nature of such
assignments.
Needless
to add, they found an ideal partner in PCCPL thanks
to our extremely talented, creative and innovative R&D
team that follows the tradition of upholding the highest
ethical standards of business practice when it comes
to carry a client’s trust.
If
you too are looking to develop a new molecule and are
looking for an Indian partner whom you can trust for
ability as well as confidentiality, please get in touch
with us.
